Job Overview: We are currently seeking a Real World Evidence (RWE) Director to join our HEOR team. The RWE Director must demonstrate accountability for team management and development, cultivating key client relationships, and identifying opportunities to enhance and grow the current business in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device sectors. Job Description *Participate in business development including identification of client expansion opportunities, drafting proposals, and participating in marketing initiatives (such as generating marketing content, creating webinars, being conference speakers, etc.)
*Develop and manage RWE teams (on-shore + off-shore) in the design, development and delivery of client deliverables.
*Provide scientific and methodological direction for observational research and RWE generation
*Oversee teams to implement HEOR/RWE projects and ensure all deliverables be in scope with predetermined standards.
*Serve as a key point of contact with a client.
*Drive internal education on all relevant aspects of observational study, such as study design, advanced statistical methods, etc.
*Provide technique training and career guidance for junior professionals in the RWE team.
Requirements: *M.S. or Ph.D. in statistics, applied mathematics, epidemiology, computer science, informatics or other quantitative fields. Preferred
*7+ years of experience with execution of observational research study design in a variety of real-world data sources in pharmaceuticals, tech, consulting or academia. Preferred
*Expertise in the design and execution of RWE studies, including the writing of protocols and analytic plans.
*Experience leading and developing analytic plans for research protocols requiring in-depth knowledge of research design and empirical methodologies used in RWE and HEOR.
*Experience in designing, collecting, and analyzing RWD using EMRs, patient charts, and administrative claims datasets.
*Specialist in scripting using statistical software packages, such as R or Python and the use of GIT for code management.
*Experience with industrializing and deploying analytics at scale in a web/cloud environment and managing data engineering teams.
*Software product development or technology background.
