Melissa joined KMK in 2022, supporting our growing recruitment team and expanding KMK’s global footprint by working closely with key business stakeholders to gain in-depth knowledge of industry talent and skillset demands. She lives by the “win/win rule” and based most of her opinions around that philosophy. She is a keen advocate of coaching, training and empowering aspiring and experienced recruiters to consistently be on top of their game.

With her 20+ years of experience, she is accountable for formulating and implementing corporate HR functions related to recruitment, employee engagement and retention, resource management, training and development to support the overall growth and advancement of the employees aligned with the business objectives, internal policies, and legal standards.

Career Background

Originally from the Philippines, Melissa earned her bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from AMA Computer University. Worked as an Analyst/Programmer specializing in database development in a semiconductor company. Her passion for dealing with people and business technology led her to shift her career to staffing and recruiting where providing qualified resources serves as a solution in completing clients deliverables.

Throughout her career, Melissa has identified qualified talents from various industries and implemented staffing management policies for her clients while ensuring compliance with established regulations and international guidelines in various countries such as APAC, Canada, EMEA, Latin America and USA.  Melissa is a former board member of the US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce (USPAACC) in the Northeast Chapter and member/participants in various organizations in the workforce industry such as Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), ClubVMSA and SHRM.
