We serve clients with a high-touch on-site and onshore presence, leveraged by a global delivery platform.Associate Director Data QualityJob DescriptionReporting to Director, Data Quality Lead, and this position will be responsible for working cross-functionally with the data team, IT, and business users to identify data anomalies and devise data validation processes and reports to proactively identify and address issues. This role will work across both commercial and medical data assets.Primary Responsibilities Include:*Understanding of overall oncology business and end-user business needs
Work closely with the Data Strategy & Services (DSS) Leads, Digital Strategy, Insights, and Analytics, SalesForce Operations and IT teams to support team specific business requirements using data and systems
*Performing data investigations (as relevant to data quality) into data anomalies and identifying issues that need mitigation
*Partner with the brand, finance, and functional areas to understand data challenges and orchestrate processes and procedures to ensure issues are resolved
*Identifying root causes of data issues and developing tactical and strategic mitigation steps for such issues. Develop data quality improvement plans that support continuous improvement in quality metrics
*Working with business and IT teams, develop and maintain data quality dashboards to ensure data quality is within an acceptable range
*A key member of data governance team providing input into best practices for processing and provisioning data
*Work closely with the Data Engineering team to ensure that all changes to data systems are thoroughly vetted and QC processes embedded in operational processes
*Investigating and identifying opportunities for business rule harmonization
Minimum requirementsB.S. in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, Business, or other technical degree is required.*5+ years of related experience with data management
*2+ years of analytics experience identifying data trends and delivering insights
*Strong professional experience in life sciences, consulting, modern data technology with progressively increasing responsibility; strong understanding of technology, business systems
*Strong understanding of Pharmaceutical Data including – Digital Data; Syndicated data vendors (IQVIA, Symphony); Specialty Pharmacy Dispense; Hub data; Distribution data; Finance data
*Deep understanding of pharmaceutical industry functions
*Advanced understanding of data systems and tools
*Hands-on experience with manipulating data and identifying data trends
*Highly developed analytical, problem-solving, change management, and consulting skills
*Solid hands-on knowledge of Excel, SAS/SQL, R, and Data Lake analytical tools.
*Knowledge of Alteryx preferred.
*A proactive approach to meeting business needs and identifying business opportunities
*Excellent interpersonal, teamwork & collaboration skills
*Ability to work and achieve objectives independently and as part of a team
*Experience with project management, change management, and agile principles.
