Account Manager, Pharma Commercial Analytics
Job Overview
The director of account management will be accountable for building and nurturing client relationships, customer satisfaction, driving business development efforts in both new and established accounts, and supports the development and commercialization of new products and services. The person is required to be familiar with the capabilities of all KMK business units (marketing sciences, RWE, SFE, and data services) and work closely with them to win new projects in assigned accounts. As a recognized experts they should be successfully ensuring client retention and satisfaction through exploring various opportunities & strategies where KMK can enter and able to establish the brand presence.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Customer Relationship ManagementSingle of point of contact of the customer for KMK
Leading business meetings & product demonstration
Business lead closure & documentation for the same
Planning & strategizing smooth client follow-ups
Communicating KMK other business offerings & product values to the client
Ensuring business query consistency from existing accounts/clients
Identification of other relevant business needs in existing accounts
Creation of new business opportunities in existing client portfolio

2. Client Engagement & RetentionEnsure customer satisfaction
Ensure that individual research studies are aligned with larger client strategies and priorities
Drive business development efforts in assigned accounts, coordinating closely with other KMK Consulting BUs.
Provide value to clients beyond the conduct of research projects and programs (e.g. consulting, training)
Review analyses, presentations, and reports, making sure that they deliver commercially valuable insights and recommendations and also tell the story in a compelling manner
Present research findings to clients as appropriate
Maintain appropriate records of client transaction
Manage KMK”s customer P&L and revenue growth

4. Resource ManagementPartner with internal recruiters and business unit leaders to identify resources for client opportunities
Partner with client managers on performance management and ongoing relationship management and project tracking of the employee/client resource
Guide employee on career path progression and development
Partner with HR on employee relations

3. Process Development & improvement Addressing client issues & complaints with a focus on improvising buyer experience
Conducting relevant market comparative/gap analysis & drafting suggestions
Sharing relevant client inputs with the research team
Develop and train assigned staff through a combination of on-the-job training and coaching
Direct the creation of formal training materials and programs and facilitate training sessions as appropriate
Conducting training for business acquisition and client retention for internal team
Forecast upcoming business & build planned execution strategy

Qualifications & Experience*Bachelor”s/Master”s degree required. An advanced degree in a relevant area is desirable but not necessary.
*Required 10+ years of relevant work experience
A successful track record in account management and delivery against sales targets is highly desirable.
